Leaving Fortaleza, 22Km towards east, on the Sol Nascente Route, hidden among the dunes of the district of Aquiraz, we reach the beach of Porto das Dunas. Besides the Eolic Park, it also hosts one of the largest touristic enterprises of Ceará: Beach Park.
Result of a combination of beach and aquatic park, the complex consists of a hotel, souvenir stores, Jangada museum, besides an attendance structure in the beach where one can taste a delicious crab. Its largest attraction however is Aqua Park.
One of the largest aquatic parks in the world by the seashore, Aqua Park is an amusement guaranteed for all the ages, with watersleds, cascades, artificial river and two other equipments existing only in Brazil. The INSANE, the highest watersled of the world with a radical descent of 41m, and the SEAQUAKE, the largest pool of waves in América Latina. The leisure area of the complex of the aquatic park is certified with ISO 9002, which gives it quality services with international standard.

Sol Poente Route also preserves many natural beauties. 37Km away, East of Fortaleza in the district of Caucaia, we find the Beach of Cumbuco. An ancient colony of fishermen, Cumbuco suprises with a landscape full of dunes punctuated by green coconut trees and intercalated by ponds. Endowed with and excellent touristic structure of hotels, bars and restaurants.

Cumbuco is a beach that offers several leisure options such as: raft rides, the entertaining donkey and horse ride, the thrilling quadricycle ride, and the surprising buggy ride that takes place on the moving dunes, with a break for practicing the local sport: the ski-bunda..., that finishes with a refreshing dive in the pond of Parnamirim.

85 km away from Fortaleza, we find the district of Beberibe with two more sea stars of the east coast of Ceará. It has been scenery for several productions for TV and movies. Morro Branco and Praia das Fontes, have a perfect combination between the rustic beauty and the sophistication. Morro Branco is very famous for its handmade works done in glass recipients.

In the “City tour”, the tourist is invited to accomplish a historical and touristic recognition of the city of Fortaleza. The Portuguese people were the first non-native settlers of Ceará, that in dispute with dutchmen around the Fort of Schooneborch, originated the small village that would officialy become the city of Fortaleza de Nossa Senhora da Assunçao, on April 13th. , 1726.
